Why it matters
Every child deserves to be understood
Children with speech difficulties often understand that they are a little different from other children, and this can knock their confidence. Early on, differences in speech are common, but as children grow older these challenges can become harder for them.
Speech and language therapy is a therapeutic intervention delivered by a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT). Our SLTs work directly with children, families and carers to support the development of these skills.
