Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your family's information.
Last updated: November 2026. This is starter text for FOS ABA Centre & Creative Hub to review with its legal adviser.
FOS ABA Centre & Creative Hub ("FOS", "we", "us") respects your privacy and your child's privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA).
1. Information we collect
- About you: your name, email address, phone number and how you heard about us.
- About your child: only what we need, usually first name and age, plus anything you choose to tell us about their needs.
- Payments: the item, amount, date and the reference from our payment provider. Card details are handled by Flutterwave and never stored by us.
- Website use: basic technical information such as your IP address and browser, used for security and to stop spam.
2. How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and arrange consultations, assessments, sessions and programmes.
- To process payments and send receipts.
- To provide and plan your child's therapy and keep accurate progress records.
- To send news about camps and events, only if you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep our website and services safe and secure.
3. Legal basis
We process information to provide the services you ask for, with your consent, to meet our legal obligations, and for our legitimate interest in running a safe and effective centre.
4. Children's information
Information about children is especially sensitive. We collect the minimum, never show it publicly, and limit access to the staff who need it. Photos of children are only shared with written parental consent.
5. Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us run our services (such as our payment provider Flutterwave and our email provider), with professionals involved in your child's care when you agree, or when the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for up to two years. Therapy and payment records are kept for as long as the law and good clinical practice require. After that, information is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
- Ask for a copy of the information we hold about you or your child.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information where we no longer need it.
- Withdraw consent, for example to newsletters or photos.
- Complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
8. Security
Our website uses HTTPS, our admin area is protected by strong passwords and limited access, and every payment is verified directly with Flutterwave.
9. Contact us
To use any of your rights or ask a question, email contact@fosabacentre.com or call +234 703 6033 361.
