Meet the founder
Osezusi (Zusi) Bolodeoku
Founder and Creative Director of FOS ABA Centre & Creative Hub. Advanced Certified Autism Specialist, Special Educational Needs expert and mother.
Her story
A mother who trusted her instincts
Zusi began her journey into children's special educational needs after a personal experience. Watching her young son over time, she noticed that he seemed to be experiencing developmental delays. She took him to several medical experts and asked the people around her, but everyone insisted he was fine and that she was over analysing. "Don't worry," people would say, "boys will be boys. Most times they don't develop as fast as girls in some areas."
Despite the reassurances, her intuition told her that her son needed help. So she set out to understand his symptoms and find a solution. Through her research and many consultations, she finally discovered that her son had attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
That journey inspired her to change course, from a full time career in banking to the world of neurodevelopmental disorders. Her wish was simple: that every child receives the best form of intervention available. Her commitment to evidence based practice led her to Applied Behaviour Analysis, and eventually gave birth to FOS ABA Centre & Creative Hub.

When given the right support, all children, with or without special needs, can thrive and grow together in the world.
Her mission
Breaking the culture of silence
As a certified Special Educational Needs expert and Advanced Certified Autism Specialist, Zusi has dedicated her life to breaking the culture of silence surrounding children with special needs in our society, by equipping them with the skills and resources they need to thrive.
In Nigeria, parents of children with special needs seldom talk about it, because of the cultural stigma and because these conditions are rarely diagnosed correctly when the first signs appear. As a result, many children do not get help in time. FOS exists to change that.
As Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Zusi leads a team of experts who nurture creativity, social skills, emotional intelligence and the practical skills every child needs to succeed. FOS ABA Centre uses the science of Applied Behaviour Analysis to support children and families living with autism, ADHD, dyspraxia and related conditions, with a team that includes a clinical psychologist, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists.
Alongside the centre, the FOS Creative Hub is an inclusive space offering music, dance, swimming, chess and gymnastics for all children. Through this work Zusi continues to challenge the stigma these children face, and her wish to see every child receive the best possible care drives her continued learning and research into neurodevelopmental conditions.
